I am a girl with nothing interesting to say.
Well, no, not really.
I've gotten into Yu-Gi-Oh recently. Well, not really recently. Last August. I was only into the first seven manga/original series at first, because I thought no card games could compare to them, but then I read the manga for DM and HOSHIT. IT WAS GOOD YOU GUYS. And I guess I never turned back. I caught YGO in a tumbling embrace and rolled downhill. It ended up being a gateway series for me. Before I never really liked anime, but now I proudly declare myself an "anime fan".
It's the characters, I guess. They're just so likable. I really think DM is better than people give it credit for. A lot of people claim that it's fun because it's cheesy and over-the-top, and it does get a little melodramatic sometimes, but it has the characters to back that up. You know?
And anyways, after falling head-over-heels in love with this universe, I came upon the little stumbling block of nobody else liking it.
And then I found Livejournal. And I realised there were people out there who were interested in the same things that I was! Inorite? It was like enlightenment. And of course, the fact that there was a YGO community just put the cherry on the cake.
If you care about me actually contributing to the fandom, I cannot draw and am lukewarm at writing. (Trying to improve though!) I am pretty good at putting together AMVs, however, so look forward to those.
Uh, that about wraps it up. In conclusion: hi there! Let's be friends!

Are the marks under Marik's eyes scars or eyeliner?
Let the debate begin!
Personally, I'm in-between. It's probably more likely that they're scars, because they appered only after Marik recieved the scars on his back. He probably got them at the same time. Then again, they also could have been cermeonial makeup that tombkeepers could only wear if they underwent the ceremnony.
In my RPs and fanfiction though, I consider it it eyeliner... because it's more funny that way XD

So, me and a friend of mine decided to drink to the original dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! We invented a drinking game, and were more or less floored by the fact that we were done with a bottle of wine by the end of the first episode.
Have you guys conducted drinking games to YGO before? If so, what are some of the rules you made?

Here's a quick breakdown of what you'll find where:- Scrapbook can now be found under Profile (thanks for your feedback, btw), along with Settings, Stats, and Edit Profile.
- You'll find all the tools you need to post and update entries under Journal, which includes posting and editing entries, managing comments and tags, and customizing your journal's style.
- Friends contains all of your friend settings, from filtering your Friends page to adding, removing, and finding new and existing friends on LiveJournal.
- Under Communities, you'll find links to manage your communities, accept community invites, and create new communities.

- Under Shop, you'll find links to upgrade or give a paid account, buy virtual gifts, purchase LiveJournal merchandise (like T-shirts), and view your payment history.
LiveJournal Mobile update:
We've enhanced LiveJournal's mobile site to improve usability and load times. We've made more of LiveJournal's features accessible via mobile, including posting comments, uploading photos, reading and commenting on friends' posts, finding and messaging friends, and more. We look forward to reviewing your feedback and recommendations for future improvements.Other important changes:
- You can lock comments to prevent further commenting on a post, while leaving existing comments visible.
- We replaced the "Tell a friend" link with a new "Share This" widget that lets you share LiveJournal posts on other social media sites, including Facebook, Digg, Twitter, etc.
- We changed some of the icons on entries (you can hover over the icons to view descriptions).
- You'll see a Tag count on your Tag management page.
- You'll now see the 10 most recent vgifts on your profile page. To remove vgifts, left-click on the vgift and choose whether you want to remove the vgift from your profile or delete it entirely.
- We've added options to help you control receipt of vgifts, which you'll find in My Stuff under Edit Profile. You can now enable vgifts from friends or everyone and disable anonymous vgifts.
We've got your fix:
- UPDATE: Rolling several updates into one listing here -- 1) Scrapbook should be back and working again. 2) The problem with the Update Journal page in IE6 and IE7 should be fixed now. 3) The problem with the userpic add-on package pricing has been fixed and refunds issued to anyone who was overcharged while the erroneous prices were in place.
- Non-conforming images will now be automatically resized for custom mood themes.
- Line breaks no longer count as two characters against your entry's character limit.
- We fixed a bug on the Manage Tags page so you can clear all tags and add new tags.
- We corrected the UI for the update.bml page so it displays properly in IE8.
So this past weekend, a few of my Yu-Gi-Oh! homies and I went to Megacon in Orlando! We took a lot of hilarious videos (I got to shoot the breeze with Sonny Strait a lot omgzzzz :D) and pictures! (Including one that proves that maybe Seto Kaiba can lose a few other kinds of games:)

Lotssss more pictures are going up, including my brother and me as Seto and Seto: http://stinkulousreddous.deviantart.com/a
I hope you all like the pictures! :D Also, if you were at Megacon, let me know- I might have taken pictures of you! XD Yay!

Debuted this sweet mother at Anime Milwaukee 3.5 - more on that later. Whenever I explained the whole "Kakashi is David Bowie" gag to the audiences in attendance, the whole freaking room would erupt. I have to admit, I was worried the joke was too polarising, but hearing that reaction put me at ease.
Also, at our official website we have a video from Anime Milwaukee that has the main characters from YGOTAS explaining the rules to a safe and enjoyable convention experience. It was a lot of fun to put together, so feel free to watch and enjoy your hypothetical animé con.
